For pc users, i found a solution, he was hostile to me at the first step (i did destroy everything when i got in there(crap) and i did too much screwing up after that trying to fix it; my last good save before all the crap was 6 days ago, 20 lvl lower.). So the way to fix it i found was by using console command (sorry err console users?).So i got inside the cave, activated the console and typed 'tdetect' which turn AI detection OFF. I went up to him, he stayed green, told me his introduction speech. After that he just was standing there doing nothing.I then used 'tdetect' again and the speech started normally. After the conversation was over, he stayed green and was finally friendly to me.Hope it helpsTLDR versionHostile Virgil Bug Solution for PC user1- open console2- type 'tdetect'3- Go to Virgil, let him do his intro4- open console again5- type 'tdetect' while face him (maybe not necessary). I posted this in another thread just now, but pasting it here for those who are subscribed only to this one:I'm having the same issue after having walked into the cave once with X-01 PA, recommended console commands aren't working.Tried tdetect, tcai and recycleactor, all of which simply stopped Virgil and his protectron from attacking.

Virgil is constantly hostile I went in to the cave and took out both of the turrets and the protectron and Virgil was angry at me so i left and came back and he was still mad. Unfortunately they both still showed up as hostile blips on the compass. After doing a little more digging into the console commands available, I've found that you can add yourself to Virgil's Faction (000ADDF7), which removes his hostility completely. Here's the command I used (.Don't leave off the 1 at the end as it's the flag that makes the player friendly):player.AddToFaction 000ADDF7 1Now when you go talk to him, he is friendly, but doesn't say anything. I've looked through my quest log and not seeing anything failed as far as Virgil is concerned. I've got the serum in my inventory, so there is no reason the player should be unable to finish this task. There must be some way to initiate the next dialog thread after this.Anyone else feel like Will Smith in I Am Legend when this happened? I think with Virgil either way I'd kill him because hes either super mutant or Institute. Both enemies but I'd like to hear feedback. I'd probably get the serum for him anyway but then keep it for myself, or the Brotherhood entirely and then cause him to go hostile and execute him.
